Job description:

St Peter St Paul are seeking to appoint a full time Assistant Cook to join our school team, working 37 hours per week over 45.27 weeks.
We are looking for someone who is organised, hardworking and flexible. The successful candidate would be able to show initiative, take pride in their work, be able to work without supervision and be part of our friendly, caring team. It is essential that the successful applicant has effective communication skills and will enjoy the variety and challenges of a busy, creative school environment.

Duties will include:
• To deputise for Catering Manager
• Supervision and organization of breakfast club
• General kitchen duties including preparation of food, washing up and general cleaning
• Preparation of the dining room area, transportation and serving of meals
• Operating the cashless system

Previous experience of catering in a commercial environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be
provided.

You do not need to be a practising Catholic but must be committed to working within a Christian ethos.
