Job description:

We at St Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic Multi Academy Trust on behalf of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy are seeking to appoint a part time cleaner to join our school team, working 15 hours per week over the year.

We are looking for someone who is organised, hardworking and flexible.  The successful candidate will take pride in their work and be able to sometimes work without direct supervision. As a team player the successful applicant will have effective communication skills and will enjoy the variety and challenges of a busy, creative school environment.

Duties will include:

General cleaning
Washing of furniture/walls and fittings
Sweeping
Suction Cleaning
Floor Buffing
Toilet Cleaning

Emptying and Cleaning of Waste receptacles and fixtures and fittings

The successful candidate must be prepared to undergo training in manual handling.

Working hours will be from 3.30pm to 6.30pm totalling 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.   Previous experience of working in an educational environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
