Contract: Permanent (12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks a year plus an additional 24 hours during the summer holidays for deep cleaning)

Job description:

We are seeking to appoint a part time cleaner to join our school team, working 12.5 hours per week over 39 weeks. We are looking for someone who is organised, hardworking and flexible.

The successful candidate would be able to show initiative, take pride in their work, be able to work without supervision and be part of our friendly, caring team. It is essential that the successful applicant has effective communication skills and will enjoy the variety and challenges of a busy, creative school environment.

Duties will include:

  • Undertaking cleaning tasks to a high standard
  • Safely storing cleaning materials and equipment
  • Reporting any problems relating to cleaning equipment and materials The successful candidate will be:
  • Diligent and hardworking
  • Able to work both independently and take direction as part of a team approach to

Previous experience of cleaning in a commercial environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
