Job description:

Our school is part of the Catholic Multi Academy Trust of St Thérèse of Lisieux. This is one of four created Catholic Multi Academy Trusts (CMAT’s) in the Diocese of Nottingham, which provides consistent, proactive and high quality support and services to all our staff.

As a school we are seeking to appoint a competent Clerk to Governors for 2.5 hours per week flexibly, term time only to join our successful and supportive team at English Martyrs Catholic Voluntary Academy. This post will commence on September 1st 2020.

The clerk to governors will:

• Support the governing body of our school

• Prepare and distribute the agenda/minutes

• Attend meetings of the Governing Body

• Deal with general correspondence

• Maintain records of attendance and meetings etc.

Support will be given by the school and the trust with training available for somebody new to this role.

You do not need to be a practising Catholic but must be committed to working within a Christian ethos.
