Job description:

St Bede’s Catholic Academy wish to appoint an effective Cover Supervisor to work in a busy school supporting the needs of students, as well being a visual member of the school.

The job will see you:

  • Covering lessons for staff who are absent.
  • Being an active member of the school community
  • Completing work and activities set by the school, in line with the pay grade
  • Invigilating examinations

To be a success Cover Supervisor we are looking for a candidate who is able to prioritise their work, is able to support students, has a professional relationship with students and is able to be flexible in how they work.

We are seeking a proactive cover supervisor who will provide excellent support for all students who attend the Academy.

You do not need to be a practising Catholic but must be committed to working within a Christian ethos. You will join a school with a clear vision to unlock the potential of all of our students through our Catholic Virtues. All our staff uphold the core virtues and Catholic ethos of the school, regardless of religious denomination, as we work as a community for our children in order to help them to become fully rounded people who achieve excellent academic results.
