We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a small HR team based at St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Multi Academy Trust (CMAT) close to Lincoln City Centre.
Reporting to the HR Manager of the CMAT, the role is offered on a permanent full time, all year round basis, however we welcome applications from suitably experienced candidates seeking to work more flexibly on a part time and/or term time basis.
You will be involved in all aspects of HR, providing a timely and proactive, customer focused HR service to Head Teachers and other senior leaders within Schools. You will support Academies both via the HR Helpdesk and face to face, ensuring compliance with employment law, policies and procedures. You will be providing consistent HR advice and support to help facilitate successful case outcomes.
The St Therese of Lisieux CMAT is one of four multi academy trusts in the Diocese of Nottingham and there will also be opportunities to work with colleagues in the HR teams in the other three trusts.
You will be CIPD qualified (or working towards), with proven experience within an HR function, managing casework effectively, ideally within an Education setting. You will have demonstrable experience of HR and recruitment and selection procedures.
You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to multi task and maintain strong attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a sensitive approach to confidential matters, coupled with strong ICT skills. Whilst being a Catholic is not a requirement for this role, you must be willing to support the Catholic life and ethos in our academies.
In return, we offer membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme, generous holiday entitlement and a real commitment to professional development.
