Job description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Catholic Multi Academy Trust.   St Thérèse of Lisieux CMAT is one of four newly created Catholic Multi Academy Trusts (CMAT’s) in the Diocese of Nottingham, which provides consistent, proactive and high quality support and services to all our head teachers, senior leaders and trustees.

We are seeking an inspirational and proactive Teacher who will support the delivery of high quality teaching and learning and who will inspire our children to achieve their full potential.  The successful candidate will work in a supportive school where students achieve and make sustained progress as a result of our distinctive Catholic ethos.  This role is suitable for NQTs and more experienced staff.

If successful, we offer you the opportunity to work in an OFSTED rated “Good” school with a strong culture of learning, where your contribution to an outstanding Maths team who regularly achieve outcomes that are in the top 20% of schools nationally, will be valued.  Working in a friendly school community, we invite you to join us in our commitment to inspire every student through outstanding Teaching and Learning by enabling students to develop their skills, resilience, independence and confidence. As a school, we have an extensive CPD programme to support you in your career.

Excellent learning and teaching is at the heart of all that we do and is supported with a full professional development programme and comprehensive induction programme.

Visits to the school from prospective candidates are welcome.

In addition to a competitive salary, there is a pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement and access to professional development.

You do not need to be a practising Catholic but must be committed to working within a Christian ethos. You will join a school with a clear vision to unlock the potential of all of our students through our Catholic Virtues. All our staff uphold the core virtues and Catholic ethos of the school, regardless of religious denomination, as we work as a community for our children in order to help them to become fully rounded people who achieve excellent academic results.
