This is an exciting opportunity to join a Catholic Multi Academy Trust. St Thérèse of Lisieux CMAT is one of four newly created Catholic Multi Academy Trusts (CMAT’s) in the Diocese of Nottingham, which provides consistent, proactive and high-quality support and services to all our head teachers, senior leaders and trustees.
St Bede’s Catholic Academy wish to appoint a Science Technician to work in a busy school supporting the needs of the school, as well being a visual member of the school. The job will see you:
- To work closely with the Head of Science.
- Providing technical advice and assistance in the classroom to support students and to assist teaching staff with the provision of learning activities.
- Co-ordinating the use and development of practical resources and facilities within the science department
- Stock control, compiling orders, liaising and/or negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining appropriate records.
The working pattern will be: Mon – Fri: 8:00am – 3:55pm
