Job description:

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Primary school is a small school, located in the town of Sleaford. We promote and cherish our ‘family’ character so can confidently state our school is a happy and caring place to be.

We are seeking to find an experienced class Teaching Assistant (with appropriate skills, knowledge, talent and ambition) to join our friendly team. You will be a team player, able to work under teacher direction or motivated to be self-directed so that you can make every minute count for the children we serve. Experience of delivering Read Write Inc. phonics group teaching and early reading support would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will:

– Have experience of working with primary aged children as a Teaching Assistant or Teacher.
– Be resilient, have a calm, patient approach and positive attitude.
– Be able to adapt plans and use IT to support children’s learning.
– Be a team player and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
– Be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children, helping them to reach their full potential.

The working pattern will be: The hours will be divided over five days.
