32.5 hours per week worked over 39 weeks a year

We at St Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic Multi Academy Trust on behalf of St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy are seeking to appoint a skilled, hardworking and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our innovative and friendly school team.

The role involves working under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work, care, support and lead learning programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have experience of working with primary aged children as a Teaching Assistant or Teacher.
  • Be resilient, have a calm, patient approach and positive attitude.
  • Be able to adapt plans and use ICT to support children’s learning.
  • Be a team player and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
  • Be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children, helping them to ‘believe, succeed and soar’.

The work pattern for this role will be: Monday to Friday- 8.30-3.30pm
