Job description:

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, driven Teaching Assistant to our dedicated, supportive and ambitious school. As a Teaching Assistant you will be passionate about improving the life chances of your pupils through consistently outstanding provision and practice. We are looking for an individual who can motivate, challenge and inspire all our pupils, irrespective of background or ability, to the best that they can be. We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to help support pupils with additional needs, especially in KS2. You will work with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide in-class support along with 1:1 interactions.

The successful applicant will:
 Be qualified to minimum NVQ level 2 in a relevant area
 Be educated to a good standard in English and Maths
 Be able to challenge, motivate and foster independence in our pupils
 Be able to modify work to suit the child’s needs and encourage active participation in all learning
 Be hard working and passionate about engaging children in learning and overcoming barriers
 Be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team
